4. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Use of the SpinalRisk Online Tool does not establish a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or any other clinical relationship between you and Movement First International, its founder, employees, or affiliates. This Tool is not a substitute for an in-person medical examination or professional clinical judgement.

5. Appropriate Use

The Tool is designed for use by adults (aged 18 and over) experiencing back or neck pain who wish to understand whether their symptoms may warrant further medical investigation. It is not designed for use as a sole diagnostic instrument, nor should it be used to self-manage a serious medical condition without professional oversight.

Healthcare professionals using this Tool should apply their own clinical judgement in conjunction with the Tool's output. The Tool is intended to support, not replace, clinical decision-making.

6. Data Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us. Health screening responses entered into the Tool are processed entirely within your web browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Your name and email address are transmitted to our email marketing platform (Kit, formerly ConvertKit) for newsletter subscription purposes only, with your consent.

7. Intellectual Property

The SpinalRisk Tool, including its clinical decision logic, user interface design, assessment methodology, branding, and all associated content, is the intellectual property of Movement First International. All rights are reserved.

You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Tool without the express written consent of Movement First International. The clinical decision tree and assessment algorithms are proprietary and may not be extracted, copied, or replicated in any form.

8. Limitation of Liability

By using the SpinalRisk Online Tool, you acknowledge and agree that Movement First International, its founder, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia, for the resolution of any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Tool.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The Tool is accessible to users worldwide. If you access the Tool from outside Australia, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
